Fresh Battery

I typically always buy a new battery when buying a used car unless I know for sure it was replaced recently. I had intended that for the 944 but I guess time flew by and I still hadn't gotten around to it. Recently I noticed sometimes acceleration would hesitate randomly especially if I had a lot of electrical things on like my lights, radio, rear defogger, etc. It's very random and I know this can happen if you have just enough voltage drop at load where the DME is starved of voltage. I looked at the manufacture date of the old Napa battery in the car and it was about 6.5 years old which is really old for a standard battery so I went ahead and replaced it with a new Diehard Gold T6. I would've preferred to go AGM like all my cars but unfortuantely they didn't have one in stock in the T6 size.
